Build Advocate was established to support landowners in realising their vision of building a dream home by guiding them through the often complex and challenging construction process.
Drawing on extensive personal experience, our team identified a clear need for independent advocacy – a trusted partner who acts exclusively in the landowner’s best interests to ensure fair treatment by builders and transparency throughout the project.
Based on the NSW Central Coast, Build Advocate proudly serves clients across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Greater Sydney regions.
Our Team
Our team is comprised of highly experienced Engineers, Builders and Lawyers who will all advocate for your build. We have a wealth of collective experience in construction and have a passion to help landowners achieve their dreams with a problem free build.
Our Director, David Tennant, is a qualified Civil / Structural Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in complex construction. David has an in-depth knowledge of contractual engagements, managing construction risks, dispute resolution and engineering design.

- Comprehensive review of handover documentation, certifications, occupancy certificates and warranties
- Guidance and support for any additional works required to complete your home
